The recipe for the Molasses Gingerbread is from the Boston Tea Party Museum!
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 cup molasses
3 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. freshly grated ginger or 1 tbsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch of allspice
1 pinch of salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Mix dry ingredients together.
Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
Incorporate dry and wet together.
Form dough into ball. Roll out your dough. Cut into any shape you desire.
Bake at 375 until done. (Time is dependent upon thickness of dough/cookie.) Keep an eye on them!
